The upcoming US film Red is based on a limited series comic book by Cully Hamner and Wally Ellis, starring Robert Schwentke and Bruce Willis. Scheduled for release in October, 2010, the film features the story of the ex black-ops CIA agent Frank Moses who leads a quiet life. These peaceful days are over when a high-tech assassin appears, aiming to kill him.
The life of Sarah, the woman he cares for, is in danger, and his identity is compromised. Frank has no other choice but to call his old team (Mirren, Malkvich, and Freeman) in an attempt to survive. The team heads for an impossible mission, breaking into the top secret headquarters of CIA, where they unveil one of the greatest conspiracies in the history of the US government.
