Are you ready for the new portion of ‘The Hangover’? Believe it or not, the movie ‘Cedar Rapids’ is indeed a new interpretation of this amusing comedy. What’s the similarity between the popular comedy and this to-be-released movie? Wow, Ed Helms is again in the spotlight. He is ready to transform himself from a naive and bashful man from a small town in the province to the top party animal.
Ed Helms plays the role of Tim Lippe, a call insurance agent whose qualities are often underestimated due to his naivety. Surprisingly, Mr.Lippe has never left his small hometown, so he has never stayed in a hotel or experienced something like Cedar Rapids, Iowa. So far, so good. Let’s see who is going to be the king of the party! Tim was made to represent his company at the annual insurance convention, a venue that will totally change his behaviour and interests. Sometimes you need a buddy to show you the path to freedom.
Tim meets three convention insurance veterans who definitely know how to push his boundaries. Facing the outer world, Tim experiences many comic and inconvenient situations that will make you laugh all the time. Don’t be misguided by the title of the movie and expect everything, but conventional plot and situations.
